Tui Na (including shoni-shin and other non-acupuncture techniques) is an extremely effective and accessible treatment for infants and children. This course will teach you milestones in childhood development, common problems and corrections for infants and children. 15 NCCAOM PDA’s pending.
Frances Goodwin is a graduate of The New England School of Acupuncture, licensed in both Massachusetts and New York since 1991; is NCCAOM certified in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. She has studied TuiNa, Alexander Technique, massage and shiatsu extensively, developed her own style of body work that integrates these modalities, with acupuncture into her practice. Frances has taught at several schools, among them are: Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, Swedish Institute, Evolve Healthy New York, Finger Lakes School of Oriental Medicine, Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine. She has lectured at NYU/HJD Medical Center, Annie Apple Seed Project, SHARE, among others. Her primary volunteer work for the past ten years has with The Global Alternative Health Care Project, The Veterans Project, and supporting Second Chance Foods. Her practice is located in New York City and Putnam County,New York with a focus in pediatrics.
